Privacy policy

Isometric New York is run by Insetlab LLC. You can use it without an account, and we don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
If you fly
When you enter the city, your pilot name and position are sent to the other pilots in your room while you're connected. Chat lines go to the same room and stay on our server for up to six hours. Your pilot name and a few settings are saved in your own browser, and you can clear them there.
If you search the map
Landmark names are matched in your browser. Anything else you type goes through our server to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoder, and we keep the result in a cache for up to a week. We don't pass your IP address along with it.
If you buy an ad
We keep your brand name, website address, ad wording, artwork, the email address you paid with and the details of your booking. Stripe takes the payment, so we never see your card number. We use your email to send your private booking link. We keep booking records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax.
Your brand name, website address, ad wording and artwork are public while your ad runs.
Who else handles data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and sends our email, and it processes IP addresses as part of serving each request.
- Stripe handles payments under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve fonts and a map library to your browser, so they see your IP address.
- OpenStreetMap receives search text, as described above.
We don't sell personal data. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, write to hello@insetlab.com. We may need to keep payment records the law requires. People in some places, including the EU and UK, have further rights under local law, such as complaining to their data regulator.
The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above.
